The 1967 Ford Super Snake Makes a Comeback

Shelby American is reviving its 1967 Ford GT500 Super Snake.

With a 56-year history of the most diverse vehicles, the Las Vegas automaker has broadened its lineup over the last several years in response to customer demand.

Back in the day, the Super Snake was an expensive one-off prototype built by Shelby American that never continued to production. The prototype changed hands over the years and most recently a collector paid over $1.3 million for the prototype.

Fast forward 50 years, the starting price for the Super Snake is $249,995 built to order.
